Dear International Frege Society,
We have a constitution! It seemed like a good idea to decide in the
early stages on some basic aspects of what the Society is all about and
how decisions are made, and then write these things down so that
everyone could refer to them. Ours is modelled on the constitutions of
similar societies.
You can find it here: https://www.fregesociety.org/about/ifs/constitution
We can vote to add things or change them at the meeting next year, so
please make a note of any improvements you think of.
Best wishes,

Dear Fregeans,
Hello and welcome! I guess I have the privilege of writing the first
message to the IFS members list.
We're still figuring out how best to manage the mailing list (thanks for
your patience); but one thing that's become clear in the last few days
is that *subscribing to the mailing list* is different from *having an
account* at lists.fregesociety.org. If you received this message, you
are subscribed to the list. But since most of you were subscribed
manually by one of us, you probably do *not* yet have an account.
You need an account if you want to manage your subscription settings.
These include things like whether you want to receive messages
individually or as weekly digests, and whether messages to the list
should be delivered to you at all. I recommend you set up an account so
you can change these settings.
You can sign up for an account via the web interface here:
https://lists.fregesociety.org/accounts/signup/?next=/mailman3/lists/member…
As long as you use the same email address which is subscribed to the
list, your account should automatically become associated with your
existing subscription.
Please let me know if you have questions or run into any problems.
